The Image.
St. Martins Anglican church is where my spiritual journey began. Wherever the Lord may promote me to, this place is where I began my journey to a full- time ministry.
Born from a Muslim mother but my father was a Catholic. I grew up in a predominantly Muslim and traditional community.
My mother was a daughter of the village head and singing political songs for the first president of my country and leading women from my district.
So, the Muslims, the Catholics and the Anglicans are part of my background and spiritual journey.
The Muslims- my mother and community I was brought up, the Catholics- my father's denomination and the Anglicans- where I grew up spiritually. So, they are my spiritual parents.
May GOD bless them all and give them the light of this great salvation.

We should read, believe, meditate, confess, pray the Word of GOD. But above all, we should act on the Word of GOD and preach the Word of GOD.

St. Peter's Anglican Cathedral.
One of Anglican's old cathedrals and one of the biggest in this part of Africa.
I once made a sermon there and the current Dean is one of my spiritual fathers. He once prayed for me.
Many Anglicans who settled in my area worked for and followed the U.M.C.A missionaries from this place- Likoma Island.
My great grandfather sold a land to these missionaries (around £3) in the 1890s and they built the St. Martins primary school, St. Martins hospital and the St. Martins Anglican church(the first image). These were build to the Northern part of this missionary field.
They also built a teachers training colleague( now St. Michael's Girls Secondary School), to the south. They also constructed a lake- vessel - engineering site (under Franscis Bell) and later, a workshop for other engineering activities.
Mr Christopher came up with the Malindi Pottery- which has spread to other parts of Malawi especially, Dedza.
Garry Clerk came with car engineering work and another expert came with cement boat manufacturing. That was my first time to see a cement boat floating over the Lake of Stars( Lake Malawi) as named by Dr. David Livingstone.
So my place was full of such activities began by the Anglican missionaries.
This is part of my spiritual background and journey- from the St. Martins Anglican church.
